File stock image Two men riding motorcycles were killed in a wreck at Loblolly Bay Road and Altman Lane in Glades County Saturday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Fabio A. Ramos, 29, of Cape Coral, was driving a 2017 BMW MC eastbound on Loblolly Bay Road around 3:45 p.m. Saturday. In front of him was Steve Nunes, Jr., 26, of Saginaw, Texas, driving a 2017 Ducati MC. Nunes, Jr. made an improper U-turn in the direct path of Ramos’ motorcycle. As a result, the front of the BMW crashed into the left side of the Ducati. Following the impact, the Ducati came to final rest within the westbound lane facing west. The BMW came to final rest on the north shoulder along the tree line facing west. Both drivers were separated from their vehicles. Nunes, Jr. came to final rest on the eastbound lane facing south. Ramos came to final rest on the north shoulder facing south. Ramos was wearing a helmet, but Nunes, Jr. was not. Both men were pronounced dead on scene.
