Horizon Council meeting to focus on Lee County’s role in the aerospace industry

The Horizon Council and the Lee County Economic Development Office will host the Horizon Council General Membership Meeting at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Florida SouthWestern State College, Building U, Room 102, 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers.

Registration and networking start at 8 a.m. and the meeting begins at 8:30 a.m.

The meeting will feature speaker Dale Ketcham, vice president, government and external relations for Space Florida, who will discuss the “Importance of the Aerospace Industry in Florida and the Role That Lee County Will Play.”

Ketcham has almost 40 years in the space business, including working with major prime aerospace contractors, the 8(a) business development program, engineering firms, Congress, Enterprise Florida and the University of Central Florida.
