Lizbeth Benacquisto says she is no longer running for Congress in 2020

In a statement released through her Facebook page, Lizbeth Benacquisto says she will no longer be running for Congress in 2020.

“After thoughtful consideration I have decided that running for Congress in 2020 is not the right path for me and my family at this time. I am extremely grateful for the words of encouragement and support from so many friends and neighbors as I have considered this option. Instead, I will focus my energies on continuing to honor the voters who have entrusted me to represent them in the Florida Senate and I will seek additional ways to serve Southwest Floridians in the future. I look forward to joining my hardworking, grassroots Republican friends to ensure we elect a candidate in CD 19 who best reflects our shared conservative values and steadfastly supports the President”.
