Golden Gate Middle School student arrested for writing threat on wall

Collier County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Golden Gate Middle School student Monday after an investigation determined that she wrote a message on the wall of the school that threatened an act of violence with a gun. The message was discovered Oct. 28.

The 13-year-old student is charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury, which is a felony.
