On Wednesday, a judge set the bond in the case of a serial groper in Lee County

The suspect, Dominic Sforza, is connected to at least two other incidents that happened last week, at a Dollar Tree in South Fort Myers, then another one at a McDonald’s near Florida Gulf Coast University.

Wednesday morning, Sforza faced a judge and received a $60,000 bond. $20,000 for each of the 3 sexual battery charges

He is also ordered to wear a GPS monitor and to stay away from the locations, as well as no contact with victims.

An anonymous tip helped get him off the street after a week of attacks that had people looking over their shoulders.

This goes to show the power of a single picture, after a surveillance image was released that showed Sforza at a Publix on Monday.

He was eventually picked out of a police lineup on Tuesday, and within hours he was arrested.

The woman who was attacked outside the Dollar Tree says she is grateful members of the community stepped up to help.

“Just how thankful I am for that you know people taking this serious because it’s just it’s just someone going there’s so many cases of this kind of thing happening but I think having as many people help as possible I’m so grateful for that,” said the Dollar Tree victim.

The next appearance in front of a judge for Sforza is November 19 at 8 a.m.
