The Wall Street Journal reports Tacoma City Council in Washington is expected to vote Tuesday on the plan that would add a $25 fee on every gun sold.

The vote would add as much as 5 cents for every bullet purchased. The goal is to reduce gun violence in the city. Opponents of the ordinance say it will put gun shops out of business.
