Semi-truck transporting mail crashes on I-75 causing mail to spill all over interstate

A mail truck traveling down I-75 in Hillsborough County was involved in a crash Monday morning, scattering mail all over the interstate.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a semi-truck carrying U.S. mail was heading south on I-75 north of Big Bend Road.

A tractor-trailer carrying water and produce was pulled over on the side of the road with two flat tires that were being serviced.

The semi-truck carrying mail swerved into the outside shoulder of the road and collided with the tractor-trailer that was pulled over.

As a result of the crash mail was scattered across the road.

The driver of the mail carrying truck suffered serious injuries and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
