Fort Myers police have crime scene tape up at a scene along the 1900 block of Oakley Avenue west of U.S. 41 in Fort Myers Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019. Credit: WINK News. Fort Myers Police Department responded near homes off Oakley Avenue in the Palm Lee Park neighborhood of Fort Myers Saturday night. Fort Myers police were on scene along the 1900 block of Oakley Ave. just west of U.S. 41 near Edison Mall. FMPD believes this is an isolated incident. SWAT crew members and K9 units also responded to the scene. There is no further information at this time. Avoid the area.
