Megabus offering daily service from Fort Myers to other desirable Florida destinations

The Megabus company is known for providing bus service to many desirable destinations at an affordable price.

Now, Megabus is offering daily service from Fort Myers to Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

The service began Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 and offers the following, twice-daily routes:

• Miami leaving at 11:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m.
• Fort Lauderdale leaving at 11:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m.
• Tampa leaving at 12:05 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.
• Orlando leaving at 12:05 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

The bus stop in Fort Myers is located at the Rosa Parks Transit Center, 2250 Widman Way. Only drop off and pickup are allowed; there is no parking allowed.

You can purchase tickets at megabus.com. Standard pricing for the next few months range from $4.99 to $29 a ticket.

The service offers round-trip tickets as well as one-way. You can also sign up for their newsletter, which will alert you when they are offering extra-low fares!

In addition, Megabus offers free, on-board entertainment for those longer rides!
