The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the school district to prevent mass shootings. A special seminar will teach parents the warning signs and how to respond should the unthinkable happen. Sheriff Carmine Marceno says this free training teaches valuable skills that everyone should know. The seminar is happening September 21st at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. It starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 12:30. Parents interested in attending can register here.
