Hurricane Dorian: Some US post offices closed in Florida

U.S. Postal Service announced normal service operations for some areas of Florida will be affected with Hurricane Dorian nearing the east coast of the state.

With the projected track of a northeastern turn in the coming days, the hurricane will still create potentially unsafe conditions such as high winds, flooding or impassable roads.

“In an abundance of caution, and to ensure the safety of both postal customers and employees, the Postal Service is temporarily adjusting operations at some Post Offices.”
