Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Broward County announced it will be closed from noon Monday until further notice due to expected tropical wind conditions caused by Category 5 Hurricane Dorian off the east coast of the state.

Airport officials will determine when the international airport will reopen.

The airport advises all flight travelers to check with respective airlines to find out the status of flights.
