Travel mug and water bottle company Contigo is recalling nearly six million kids’ water bottles due to a choking hazard.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the affected models to have a clear silicone spout that can detach from the bottle, posing a choking hazard to children.

The affected models were sold across the U.S. as well as in Canada and Mexico and will only have a black spout base and spout cover.

The specific products are labeled as the Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles and were sold individually, as well in two-packs and three-packs.

The bottles come in three sizes: 13 ounces, 14 ounces and 20 ounces, and four colors including solid colors, graphics, stainless steel and stainless steel solid colors.

If you or your child have one of the affected bottles, please stop using them and take them away from children immediately. You are asked to contact Contigo for inspection instructions and a free replacement lid.

So far, the company has received 149 reports of the spout detaching, including 18 spouts found in children’s mouths.

The bottles were sold between April 2018 and June 2019 at Costco, Walmart, Target and other stores nationwide and online on various websites for between $9 and $24.
