FGCU Project: Garbage waste tested as alternative to propane

Changing the world, one veggie at a time, that’s what a Southwest Florida assistant professor hopes to accomplish by replacing propane.

The alternative is called biogas, and it’s turning garbage into a gas fuel for grills, and into fertilizer for growing plants.
