The Shy Wolf Sanctuary and Home Base SWFL are joining forces to help veterans and their families.

On Sunday, veterans will have the opportunity to participate in the Sanctuary’s therapeutic Healing Hearts program where they will have the chance to get an educational encounter with the Sanctuary’s rescued animals.

Many of the animals come from abused, abandoned and neglected situations. The purpose of the event is to give veterans a therapeutic setting where they can interact with the animals who may have gone through traumatic situations just like them.
