Armed suspect robs Circle K in Fort Myers

An armed suspect held up a Lee County convenience store Sunday morning. Now, SWFL Crime Stoppers wants help from the public to name the suspect.

Around 3:40 a.m., a Hispanic man entered a Circle K along Summerlin Rd. in Fort Myers.

According to the press release, the armed suspect approached the store clerk and demanded cash from both the register and safe.

In fear for her life, the clerk complied. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect can call the SWFL Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).

All callers may remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000. Tips may also be made online or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
