An area of disturbed weather located over the Bahamas is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

Some slow development of this system is possible over the next several days as it moves toward the Florida peninsula and then the southeastern United States. Regardless of development, thanks to a lot of tropical moisture, rain chances increase Friday into Saturday.

National Hurricane Center has the formation chance through 48 hours at low with near 0 percent, but the formation chances through the 5 days increase to 20 percent.
