1 person dead and another seriously injured in rollover crash on I-75 entrance ramp

Two people were ejected from a truck in a crash in Fort Myers Wednesday evening resulting in one fatality.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Cesar Lombardo, 40, and his passenger, Miguel Rodriguez, 36, were traveling north on I-75 on the entrance ramp overpass over Alico Road.

Lombardo lost control of the vehicle and wrecked into the guardrail on the right side of the road causing the vehicle to overturn.

Lombardo died from his injuries sustained in the crash. The passenger, Miguel Rodriguez suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
