Rays, Braves, Red Sox, Twins release 2020 Spring Training schedule

The Tampa Bay Rays, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins released their 2020 Spring Training schedule Monday.

This year’s training will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 as the Red Sox face the Rays and the Braves play the Baltimore Orioles.

Training for the Twins will begin Friday, Feb. 21, 2020 against the Minnesota Golden Gophers as well as the University of Minnesota.

For the Red Sox and the Rays, their first Grapefruit League game will be at the Red Sox Jet Blue Stadium. The Rays’ first home game will be against the New York Yankees on Feb. 23 at Charlotte Sports Park.

For the Braves, their first Grapefruit League game will be a home game at CoolToday Park.

Set times for the games have not yet been determined.

Spring Training games will continue through Monday, March 23, 2020 for the Rays and Twins and March 24 for the Braves and Red Sox.

In total, the Rays will play 32 Spring Training games, the Braves will play 33 games and the Red Sox and Twins will play 34 games.
