Sidewalk expansion in Fort Myers. Photo via WINK News On Monday, Fort Myers is keeping students safe by approving money for new sidewalks outside a school off of U.S. 41 around Allen Park Elementary. As kids from this area head to school they have two choices, either stand in the road next to cars, or walk in the grass. The sidewalks are being installed right off of U.S. 41 on Moreno Avenue, and also right next to the school on Sunset Road.
