Fatal crash on NE Pine Island Rd. at Barrett Rd in North Fort Myers. (Credit: WINK News) One person was confirmed dead Saturday after a multi-car crash in North Fort Myers. Florida Highway Patrol, Cape Coral Police Department and Lee County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the crash involving five cars on NE Pine Island Road near the intersection with Barrett Road.
