Two suspects arrested in string of Lee County robberies

Two suspects have been arrested in connection to armed robberies in Cape Coral and North Fort Myers Friday morning.

A suspect, Noah Voll, 19, faces two counts of Robbery with a Firearm and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon charges. A second suspect, Jahiem Lovett, 17, faces two counts of Robbery with a Firearm.

The first robbery was in the parking lot of Achieva Bank located on Del Prado Blvd S. in Cape Coral. The second robbery was at the 7-Eleven located on Del Prado Blvd S. in North Fort Myers, per the Cape Coral Police Dept. press release. The suspects were seen driving a black Cadillac.

The suspects’ vehicle was found behind the Motel 6 located on Marinatown Lane in North Fort Myers. It was hidden in an area normally used for a dumpster. The suspects were believed to be in room 426, the release states.

A detective saw a male in the room quickly close the curtain after he saw authorities on the scene. Voll and Lovett went into the attic in an attempt to avoid detection but were arrested. The teenagers were taken into custody and are currently at the Lee County Jail.
