School starts on Monday, and hundreds of students will get to use a newly expanded high school campus, all thanks to the shopping being done in Lee County.

A sales tax increase helped build the new wing of Lehigh Senior High, and the last brick was just put in.

It’s a $13-million project that is finally finished and the people in Lee County who spoke with WINK News say it is money well spent. And this expansion is just the start of the district’s expansion plan.

The ribbon cutting for the new building will be at 9 a.m.

The school district has a calculator online that makes it easier for you to see exactly how your tax dollars are being spent, you can view that calculator here.
