Pedestrian dies after being struck by a car on Palm Beach Blvd

The Florida Highway Patrol says they are currently investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Palm Beach Blvd and Charleston Park Dr that happened around 5:45 a.m.

According to FHP, a car was traveling down Palm Beach Boulevard east of Charleston park Drive when Michael Alterma, 35, shot across the road in front of the car.

The front of the car struck Alterma, sending him over the roof of the car. Alterma died from injuries suffered in the collision.
