Lee County Sheriff’s Office reports Tony Wilson Jr. from Lehigh Acres pled guilty in federal court Thursday to multiple drugs charges related to selling cocaine, fentanyl and heroin.

According to LCSO, Wilson was the leader of a large drug ring in the Suncoast Estates area of Lee County between 2013 and 2018.

Detectives worked undercover during the investigation of Wilson, buying illegal drugs from the homes involved in the drug activity.

Detectives seized tens of thousands of dollars, many guns and large amounts of illegal narcotics during the entirety of the investigation.

“Eliminating dangerous, illegal substances in Lee County remains one of my top priorities,” Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in the press release. “I am so proud of our narcotics unit for their continuous hard work in cases like this one.”

Wilson faces the possibility of life in prison.
