Photo via WINK news Punta Gorda police arrested a man they initially believed to be a suspect in an armed bank robbery at Bank of the Ozarks but have since released him. At approximately 8:45 a.m. PGPD responded to the Bank of the Ozarks, located at 3855 Tamiami Trail, in reference to an armed robbery. The man who fled from police upon arrival was arrested and questioned, but police say at this time there is no evidence linking him to the robbery. He was charged with Resisting Without Violence.
