A Wisconsin teenager is in the intensive care unit with severe lung damage after buying vape vials off the street. The victim’s family said he went to the hospital when he was having trouble breathing. Doctors thought it might be pneumonia, but soon realized it was something else. His brother said it was the vape cartridge that contained THC that ruined his sibling’s otherwise great health. In the last four weeks, the hospital has treated eight patients with severe lung damage. All had the common thread of vaping. The Wisconsin Dept. of Health said that it is investigating the case.
