Deputies responded to a home to make a major drug bust. The sheriff’s office reported there was enough illegal drugs to kill anyone. And neighbors are not happy.

Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested mom and son Virginia Terry, 62 and Gary Ouillete, 42, for possession and selling of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine out of an East Naples home Friday.

Neighbor Jackie Novins is concerned for the youth who could have been exposed to the accused drug dealers.

“Scared for the kids in the neighborhood,” Novins said. “Scared to know that the people going in and out of the driveway were there for that reason.”

And she was terrified for her son Alex, who is in the fifth grade.

“It felt weird because you never know if they can come over and hurt you,” Novins said. “And if they hurt you, it’s scary.”

The Novins said they woke up to detectives, deputies and SWAT team searching the house where Oillete and Terry were arrested and drugs were confiscated from them.

“This morning, there was just an explosion,” Novins said. “It felt like a bomb just dropped on our house. There are two swats lined up right here, and there are cops lined up all down the roads, and they were blocked off down there at the ends.”

Law enforcement also found steroids, marijuana and cash money.

Oillette faces charges for trafficking fentanyl and heroin. And both Oillette and Terry face charges for having equipment to either make, use or hide drugs and having cocaine.

“We don’t need that in the neighborhood. we don’t need that anywhere

In Florida, the minimum penalty for trafficking fentanyl or heroin between 14 and 28 grams is 15 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
