Naples police make another massage parlor arrest after an employee offers an undercover officer sex for cash.

It’s the second prostitution arrest at a massage parlor in Naples in the last four months.

Harmony Massage Parlor on 4th Ave. N. in Naples was closed Friday, one day after police say a worker inside offered to perform a sex act on an undercover officer.

Naples resident Margaret Mitchell says what is apparently going on behind these doors worries her, “Shocked – I’m a little disappointed I would guess.”

Police confirm an undercover officer walked into the business Thursday and asked for a massage.

Then investigators say Shuihong Wang, 50, offered to perform a sex act for $50.

This is the second prostitution arrest at a massage parlor in Naples in four months.

In April, police arrested a woman working at the Naples Healthy Spa on Pine Ridge Road after investigators say she offered to perform a sex act on an undercover office for $200.

Mitchell was unsettled by the news, “I don’t feel like that should happen in Naples, it’s kind of gross.”

But it does happen.

And in unincorporated Collier County just last month, an undercover deputy arrested a woman working at Elegant Asian Massage off US-41 in a similar sex sting.

Carlos Sanchez works right next to Harmony Massage. “Those sorts of activities wherever they are, it’s not something that’s easy for you to digest,” Sanchez said. “Much less in a community and city like this.”

He’s feeling unsettled after seeing all the police activity first-hand.

Wang faces a prostitution charge and is out of jail on bond.

Naples police say they need everyone’s help to make sure this recent trend does not continue.
