Death investigation on Richard Road in Lee County. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed one person is dead after a shooting in rural Lee County. Deputies received a call at 8:30 a.m. about shots fired on the 17000 block of Richard Rd. When deputies arrived, one person was found dead and one person was then detained. LCSO is calling it a domestic incident. We will continue to update this story as new information is confirmed.
