Motorcycle driver dies in Collier County crash

There was a fatal crash in Collier County Tuesday afternoon.

Jerry Joseph Bremser, 62, died in the crash, which was at the intersection of Immokalee Rd and Lilac Ln in Naples on Tuesday around 1:40 p.m.

Ruby Rodriguez, 32, was driving a Mazda 6 east on County Rd. 846 near Bremser, who was riding a motorcycle.

Bremser was slowing down to make a right turn on Lilac Ln, but Rodriguez failed to slow, according to the Florida Highway Patrol press release. The front of the Mazada hit the motorcycle, causing the bike to fall on its right side.

The crash is under investigation.
