Credit: AP News. A Walmart spokesperson confirmed a person claims they were assaulted on the property of the Walmart on Del Prado Boulevard in Cape Coral Sunday. Walmart is working with authorities and providing security footage to help in an active investigation. It’s unclear if the assault happened at the Walmart, what the sex of the victim is and if this was a sexual assault. Walmart said its thoughts and prayers go out to the victim.
