Man in custody after barricading himself inside Golden Gate home

Deputies have a man in custody after he barricaded himself inside a home in Golden Gate Wednesday.

Law enforcement closed 29th Place SW near St. John Neumann High School for about an hour.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team was on scene and has since cleared.

St. John Neumann High School was not on lockdown and students were dismissed as normal after school.
