Lee County Emergency Management announces first round of Hurricane Preparedness Seminars

As hurricane season is only a month away, Lee County has announced their first round of hurricane preparedness seminars.

Lee County Emergency Management has scheduled four Hurricane Preparedness Seminars and they are open to the public.

The free seminars, which happen annually, will include information on how to prepare families and homes for hurricane season, how to use new hurricane-related technology and how Emergency Management responds to hurricanes and other disasters.
The seminars will be at the following times and locations:
  •   2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 – Lakes Regional Library, 15290 Bass Road, Fort Myers, 33919, in the large conference room.
  •  11 a.m. Friday, May 10 – Sanibel Community House, 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, 33957.
  • 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22 – Fort Myers Regional Library, 2450 First St., Fort Myers, 33901, in the large Conference Room A/B.
  • 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 – Cape Coral Public Library, 921 SW 39th Terrace, Cape Coral, 33914, in the large meeting room.
