Suspect arrested in WAWA robbery, LCSO searches for second suspect

Lee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a second suspect in a March WAWA robbery.

The first suspect, Terrohne Franklin, 25, faces charges of Robbery and Illegal Use of Credit Cards after his recent arrest.

On March 13 around 7:40 a.m., LCSO received a call about a robbery in the WAWA parking lot at 12701 S Cleveland Ave. in Fort Myers.

While a woman was sitting in her car using her cell phone, a man opened her passenger door, entered and grabbed her purse, according to the LCSO press release. The woman struggled over the purse, but the suspect fled on foot with the bag in his possession.

Multiple tips made to SWFL Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of Franklin.
