Investigation off Veronica Shoemaker Blvd. Credit: WINK News Fort Myers Police Department confirmed Friday a body recovered from a lake near Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard and Canal Street is missing person Jardan Dejuan Battle, 31. On Wednesday, FMPD, assisted by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Lee County Sheriff’s Office, removed Battle’s body from the small lake in Fort Myers.
