We are now getting a brand new look at one of the biggest projects to come to Fort Myers Beach. TPI, a developer, just released the following video showing what the Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers will look like: TPI said the video shows 80 percent of what the Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers will look like. The video starts with the exterior of the building and a pedestrian bridge connecting them. The resort will have more than 250 hotel rooms. We also see an indoor garage. The video provides a look at the green areas throughout the resort, along with the amenities. The design includes a cornhole field, an outdoor fire pit, outdoor tables and couches. The video provides a view of the pool at the resort – it is massive! The pool is filled with palm trees and it even has a bridge. The pool will be steps away from the beach, according to the TPI video. TPI said it would submit its application for a construction permit at the beginning of May. The company hopes to resolve two lawsuits against the project. It said they want to get construction underway by the end of the year.
