FPL Scammers pretending to be Florida Power and Light employees are calling Southwest Floridians again in an attempt to get your money. The number on your caller ID may say it’s FPL but it may actually be a scammer. It’s called ‘spoofing’ and scammers can pretend to be calling from any phone number. If you receive a call demanding payment, hang up and call the real company using the number on your bill/statement.
