Fire Dept: 'Very bad accident' in Marco Island, avoid area

There has been a “very bad accident” in Marco Island, according to the Marco Island Fire-Rescue Department.

The incident happened on the 1100 block of Bald Eagle Dr. Sunday morning.

The roadway to and from Old Marco is shut down. The fire dept. advises drivers to avoid the area if possible.
