The biggest lasting impact from the storms is at Southwest Florida International Airport Friday night. There are flight cancellations and delays that have some people unexpectedly spending the weekend in Southwest Florida.

The majority of people we spoke to said they won’t be able to get home until Monday. So, they have decided to take it in stride and spend Easter in town, while others scrambled to find alternate ways home.

Many airlines are communicating with travelers on Facebook and Twitter, giving quick replies to update their passengers on the status of their flights.
