Potential strong storms moving into SWFL today

Rain and storms arrive Friday in Southwest Florida along a cold front. Some of these storms could possibly become strong to severe with a greater chance of severe weather across the northern half of the state.
At this time, our most reliable forecast models have the main line of rain and storms approaching and moving through Southwest Florida between 2 – 8 p.m. Our primary threats with this system include frequent lightning, gusty wind, and heavy rain/street flooding. There is also a small threat for an isolated, brief tornado and small hail.
