Tax Day freebies and survival guide

Tax Day is Monday. And while it’s probably not most people’s favorite day of the year, there’s a silver lining.

There are actually great deals:

  • McDonald’s: One penny can afford menu items like a Big Mac or Chicken McNuggets, with purchase of a full price Big Mac or 10 piece McNuggets.
  • Hardee’s: If you say the phrase “made from scratch,” you will receive a free sausage biscuit from 7 to 10 a.m.

Some offers do require online coupons, so have them on hand.

Other deals out there include:

Applebee’s: Sip a $1 Strawberry Dollarita with a Twizzler straw in April.

Boston Market: Half-chicken individual meal with a beverage for $10.40 through April 15.

Dunkin’: $1 medium hot or iced coffee for perk members. No coupon is needed.

Grimaldi’s Coal Brick-Oven Pizza: 16-inch pie for $10.40.

Hooter’s: From April 12 to April 15, children under 12 years old can eat free with any $15 adult purchase.

Jet’s Pizza: A one-topping, 8 Corner pizzas for $10.99 with the code TAXES. This deal is available in-store and online for pickup or delivery.

Office Depot/ Office Max: Bring in up to 5 lbs of documents to shred free of charge. Offer valid 3/31/19 – 4/27/19. Coupon required.

Firehouse Subs: Get a free medium sub when you buy a medium or large sub, drinks and a drink. Coupon required.

Planet Fitness: Free HydroMassage for members and non-members April 11-20th
