Sex offender bonds out of Sarasota jail after turning himself in
A man arrested, suspected of touching a young girl at a community pool in North Port has been released from jail Wednesday.
Timothy Rice, 41, was initially arrested at the Ann and Chuck Dever Regional Park pool in Englewood on March 22 after a parent said he squeezed her daughter’s butt and asked for a kiss.
After bonding out of jail in Charlotte County, deputies in Sarasota County found there was enough evidence to arrest Rice for being a registered sexual offender at another pool in North Port.
Rice turned himself in to Sarasota County authorities Tuesday and was released on bond the next day.
