Authorities responded to a crash with injuries involving a turned over tractor-trailer on northbound I-75 mile marker 185 in Sarasota County.

According to the FHP press release, Arjono, 33, suffered serous injures in the crash.

Arjono was traveling northbound on the interstate in a 2002 Sterling L9500 truck. During that time, the right air axle of the truck had a blowout. And the truck rotated clockwise across northbound traffic and hit the bridge rail on the road’s shoulder.

The truck kept moving and rolled over the rail, and the cargo bed of the truck separated and lost a lot of sand that it was carrying. The truck came to a rest on the grassy area off the interstate.

A trauma helicopter responded to the scene to transport Arjono to Sarasota Memorial Hospital to treat serous injuries.

The crash was just north of Sumter Boulevard and caused a complete roadblock, which cleared hours later.

North Port Police Department also responded to the crash.
