East Naples crash leaves one woman with serious injuries

Three people were injured in an East Naples crash. One woman has serious injuries. Two men with left with minor injuries.

The suspect, Mark Noger, 57, faces charges of Driving on Suspended License and Possession of a Controlled Substance after being involved in a crash with another vehicle on County Rd. 951 and U.S. 41.

Noger was driving a Dodge Caravan south on CR-951 south of U.S. 41 in the center lane. Richard Delawder, 76, with passenger Sharon Delawder, 75, was stopped in traffic in the center lane of southbound CR-951 in a Mercedes S550 in front of the Caravan.

The front of the Caravan collided into the rear of the S550, according to the Florida Highway Patrol press release. Richard was transported to NCH Collier, while Sharon was taken via med-flight to Lee Memorial Hospital.
