Suspect arrested in 2012 Gulfstream Isles murder case

According to U.S. Marshals Service, the suspect of a murder in 2012 at the Gulfstream Isles has been arrested.

Jonathan Espinosa was arrested by Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Fort Lauderdale for the murder of Shirley Zerna.

Zerna was a 28-year-old woman who was found dead in June of 2012 on Red Cedar Drive in Gulfstream Isles apartments.

Espinosa was taken into custody and is currently being held in the in the Broward County Jail pending being transported to Lee County to stand trial.
