Investigators ID man who died after fight at Redneck Mud Park

Deputies have released the name of a man who died after being involved in a fight at the Redneck Mud Park in Charlotte County Saturday.

Ramon A. Muino, 27, was declared dead at a hospital after being transported there while being treated by Emergency Medical Services.

Muino’s identity was initially withheld to protect the family from being located or harassed during the initial investigation, per the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office press release.

At this time, the autopsy has been completed and the cause of death is still pending toxicology results. It may take a few weeks for results.

CCSO Detectives will continue its death investigation and is asking the public for information, such as videos of the fight that happened around 11 p.m. near the main stage.
