The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District is inviting the public to provide input on the development of the new Lake Okeechobee System Operating Manual (LOSOM). A series of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) public meetings will be held throughout south Florida during the month of February and public scoping comments will be accepted under the extended comment period until April 22, 2019. If you have a comment on how the Army Corps should empty the lake, please send your comments to LakeOComments@usace.army.mil.
