Lee County school district hosts event to keep kids safe online

The Lee County school district wants to arm parents with knowledge, so they can protect their kids online.

Six to nine hours — that’s how long teenagers are spending glued to their phones or computer screens daily.

Lee County Public School is hosting a seminar to teach parents about different social media platforms at Cape Coral High School Tuesday.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m.
