A Naples man was arrested after he developed a relationship with a juvenile and had them send personal pictures to him through social media that were sexual in nature.

On Friday, Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rolando Blanco Correa, 44, in Naples after he was found to have convinced a child to send him nude pictures of themselves.

According to the CCSO arrest report, a cyber tip was received from Facebook regarding the exploitation of the child victim on its website. Following investigation, Blanco was determined to be the suspect, and Facebook provided the sheriff’s office with files that were sent from the victim to Blanco as well as excerpts from their chats online.

Three of the files shared with CCSO depicted images that met the criteria for Child Pornography as defined by the sheriff’s office. The files and chats reported occurred over a period of months from approximately Sept 7, 2018 to Jan. 14, 2019.

On Friday, deputies arrested Blanco at his home in Naples. During Blanco’s arrest, deputies found him in possession of cocaine and heroin.

According to the report, Blanco told CCSO he works in other states, and he returned to Naples for a short period before he planned to leave and go back to work. He did not know the name of the business he worked for, address or location for where he would be working in the future. He was unable to provide the state he might be working in or a phone number CCSO could contact him if he was released.

Blanco faces charges for three counts of In State Person Electronic Transmit Child Porno among other charges related to solicitation of child porn and sex acts.

Blanco also faces drug charges — one count of Possession Of Cocaine and one count of Possession Of Heroin.

According to his arrest page, Blanco is in jail with no set bond amount.
